Anaheim Convention Center continues partnership with Smart City Networks

Smart City Networks announced that it will continue to serve the Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) as its event technology partner for another five years. Effective Aug. 9, 2009 through 2014, Smart City Networks will provide the ACC with event technology services, including telecommunications, Internet, networking, data services, and Wi-Fi.
"Since 1986, Smart City Networks has supported our team with their superior customer service and capabilities," said Tom Morton, executive director, convention, sports & entertainment department of the city of Anaheim. "Smart City consistently delivers excellence in data, telecom and technical services to meet our clients&0146; event needs. Our team is very pleased with the success of our partnership."

Smart City Networks will continue to provide full-service telephone services, high-speed Internet access using Ethernet protocols to all exhibit spaces and meeting rooms, and turnkey data networking services including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and private networks using the latest technology. Smart City Networks also provides an entry-level wireless service ideal for Web surfing and checking e-mail which can be accessed throughout the convention center by using a Wi-Fi compatible network card. The wireless network offers Internet access of up to 256k of bandwidth, servicing exhibitors as well as attendees.
